Dolinguo Community Borehole
Dolinguo is a large community of 1145, on the extreme edge of the region, therefore it's difficult to get to, with consequence that the community gets no regional or outside support. Their current water source was diminishing year on year and the search for water now comes from scoop holes. The school has only unsafe water access and the children suffer from much sickness. The water source had to be protected from the surrounding wildlife daily.
Safe water borehole for Dolinguo

Their current water source was diminishing year on year and the search for water now comes from scoop holes. The school has only unsafe water access and the children suffer from much sickness. The water source had to be protected from the surrounding wildlife daily.
Ghana Outlook visited this site after travelling for hours into the bush and decided that the community had an urgent need for safe water. A water filter was initially issued to the school to clean the water so that is safe to drink.
The cry for potable water to drink is now a thing in the past. Both children and adult will no longer walk for miles just to look for potable water to drink, especially for the school children who have had to endure the feeling of thirst while in school for almost 7 hours for five days in the past 50 years.
Felix Kungyiene (the boy GO helped with school items), now a JHS 1 student express his gratefulness to the donors. He thought it was dream but now it is a reality. He hopes this the facility will keep the students in school and there is no reason for them to wander around the bush to look for water. His juniors will no longer suffer the way they did before, he added.
For Celestina Yirnibe, a primary teacher said that she can’t thank the donor enough in providing the facility as it is very vital to their children as they will no longer go thirsty while in school.
Mr. Suonyaane Bakyiir, a community elder, expressed his gratitude and ask for more blessings from God for the donors to get more funds to help more communities like them. He added that their biggest problem is now solved which is to wake up very early and look for water and this will give reason for their kids not to attend classes but now they are not worried any more.
